Overview
Marcus has over 30 years’ experience as a specialist commercial litigator, undertaking the most complex and high value commercial work. Marcus regularly acts for prominent high profile public and private concerns and high net worth individuals, providing guidance to clients to resolve disputes through mediation, adjudication, litigation and arbitration, both in the United Kingdom and overseas. Marcus has gained considerable experience in managing large scale disputes and has been involved in several reported and leading cases in his career to date.
Marcus established Mason Hayes in 2002 and the firm has offices in Wilmslow and London. Marcus is a former member of the Manchester and Birmingham Law Society Committees. Marcus has also held the positions of Manchester Law Society’s Parliamentary Liaison Officer and the Law Society’s Spokesman on construction and consumer affairs.
Marcus regularly lectures at commercial conferences and universities nationally and has had several articles published in local and national trade press.
